and categories which will display your inventory. This becomes your Store Directory which is accessible
from every page. Your customers can jump from point to point in your store without navigating cumbersome
menu structures. Inventory items are entered along with optional thumb-nail and large size pictures which
are uploaded from your workstation directly to the server. You further define basic site information such
as your store's name, address, phone, etc. as well as who can access the site maintenance (also know as
the Back-Office or Bookstore Staff) functions. At this point, you have all of the basics ready to go and
can begin! As you might have guessed, you can easily have a functional store up and running within just a
few days.

By utilizing an industry standard ODBC interface, we can access virtually *any* Point-Of-Sale, Inventory,
Student Registration, Textbook Adoption, etc. system to provide the information your customers need without
involving a member of your staff. Examples include allowing students to check which books were adopted for
a particular course by their professors along with current pricing and availability. Taken a step further,
a student could enter in his/her student ID number and based upon their current course registration information
a personalized booklist can be generated or even purchased. All in a matter of seconds without the hassles
of the older, time consuming method of looking up each course by hand in a printed report. Think of how
much traffic can be reduced during RUSH by allowing students to research their needs online without having
to enter the store.
College StoreFront is extensible. In many cases, you may be manually maintaining information as
there is no existing application setup to handle your needs. By utilizing Macromedia's Cold Fusion application
server technology, College StoreFront can be extended with new features directly without the requirement of
