GNU shellutils 2.0 for MPE/iX

GNU shellutils is a collection of shell utilities (basename, env, groups, pathchk, seq, true, yes, date, expr, hostname, printenv, sleep, tty, dirname, factor, id, printf, tee, uname, echo, false, logname, pwd, test, whoami). Some parts of the original GNU package are not yet supported in this MPE port (pinky, users, who, su, chroot, hostid, nice, nohup, stty). Also notice that date does not support changing the system clock at present.

To build shellutils on MPE/iX, I have used the GNU gcc compiler package. For convenience reasons, I have used a few supplemental files from the Posix Porting Wrappers from Jazz. Those are also supplied as .o files here, in case you don't have c89 on your system.

To build GNU shellutils on MPE/iX, you need the following files:

To just use precompiled binaries, you can use the following:

Have fun with GNU shellutils for MPE/iX, but keep in mind: use at your own risk
